Chief Executive Officer

Tanya Miller

Tanya’s journey with Focal began in 2004 when she joined us as the very first CEO, leading us through a transformative transition from voluntary management. During her initial tenure, she brought many important initiatives to life, such as our Vacation Care / Out of School Hours program and Horizons group. Tanya’s visionary leadership also played a crucial role in establishing our beloved Canning Street sites and championing the NDIS.

Even though Tanya took a step back from the CEO role in 2010, her dedication to Focal remained unwavering. From 2011 to 2014, she provided invaluable support, ensuring readiness for the NDIS transition and that our organisation’s 40th-year celebrations were truly memorable. In the following years, Tanya moved into senior executive roles within specialised fields like mental health, homelessness, and family services. She continues to contribute to quality service delivery through workforce development and leadership. Throughout her career, Tanya’s passion has always been rooted in achieving positive outcomes for the individuals she supports.
