A group for those who want to have a cuppa and a chat, socialise with new and old faces and get creative. Sewing seems to be a somewhat lost art with the introduction of cheap, massed-processed items. Such a fantastic skill to learn that involves both left and right hemispheres of the brain.
Activities include:
- Basics of sewing
- Variety of sewing projects
- Make your own mask, clothing, purse, bag, anything!
- Discover the world of sourcing and working with recyclables
NDIS Support Items: Group support – centre based / Individual support – centre based
Support Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1
- Core Supports – Assistance with Social and Community Participation
- Capacity Building – Increased Social and Community Participation
Activity Fee: $5
Booking Requirements
An intake process needs to be completed prior to booking in for this group. This requires participants to have returned a signed service agreement, fee schedule, and new client intake forms.
